Carrera de los Muertos San Diego is a festive and fun 5k & 10k run that will start and finish Embarcadero Park South in downtown San Diego.
Enjoy a scenic run or walk along downtown’s San Diego Bay and stay to celebrate in the park with mariachi, dancers and comida deliciosa! Join family and friends to remember loved ones that have passed in this rich cultural tradition. You will experience a great sense of community through a little exercise, music, dance, face painting and a lot of fun. Nos vemos en la Carrera de los Muertos!

Flat, Fast Run or Walk with the waves of the Pacific Ocean on your right and the San Diego Bay on your left and capping off your run with a California Beach Party! Run along the “Silver Strand,” from Coronado to Imperial Beach! Coronado Island is located just across the bridge from downtown San Diego. The Half Marathon course is open to Runners and Walkers only. The 10 mile course is open to Runners, Walkers, Skaters, Ellipticals/ElliptiGO, Handcycles, and Wheelchairs.
Welcome back skaters! Bring out your inline skates, roller blades or roller skates and speed your way down the strand. Helmets are mandatory. Knee and wrist guards are recommended.
The Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk starts and finishes at the Imperial Beach Pier Plaza at 7:00 am. Run the 5K and then enjoy the post race Beach Party and Beer Garden while watching the half marathoners cross the finish line.
These holiday runs have a mixture of dirt and paved trails. You are going to feel like a pilgrim running across a stream and through the woods. This run has great mountain and lake views. Come out and burn those holiday calories. Take a break from your holiday shopping and get out to Bonelli Park for a fun filled holiday run. Thinking about jogging with a stroller? The 5K course is all paved and fine for strollers but the 10K course is on trails and passes through a stream – and is not recommended for strollers.
It’s fun for the whole family so don’t forget the KIDS either! Keep your kids in the action and promote physical fitness with this 1/2 mile run. Each child will get a finisher medal.
Everyone gets Pumpkin Pie at the finish line!
Welcome to the Turkey Tri. Come out and BURN those holiday calories with triathlon distances challenging enough for the seasoned triathlete, yet short enough for the novice triathlete. The event begins with a fun filled ½ mile, calm, lake swim. The bike is a 14 mile (2-loop) road course that is mostly flat with a couple of small hills. The run is 4.5 miles all on paved surfaces around the lake. Everyone gets a piece of Pumpkin Pie at the finish line!
Don’t forget the kids! The San Dimas Turkey Tri is fun for the whole family! Come participate in the Turkey Tri and bring the kids for the Pumpkin Pie Kids Duathlon. Keep your kids in the action and promote physical fitness with this 1/2 mile run, 2 mile bike and 1/2 mile run. Good for Ages 4-12
Grab your sneakers and get ready for the annual Burbank Community YMCA Turkey Trot Race through beautiful downtown Burbank. Everyone is welcome. Join us on Thanksgiving morning for this healthy, family-friendly and fun holiday tradition. All the proceeds from the Turkey Trot directly fund the YMCA financial assistance program, which enables the Burbank Y to provide services to members in our community on a sliding scale, fulfilling our promise to turn no one away from membership for inability to pay.
